Water Testing & Chemical Balancing Melbourne
Clear water isn't always healthy water — and healthy water isn't luck. Our professional water testing and chemical balancing service measures everything that matters and doses precisely, keeping your pool safe, comfortable and crystal clear.
What we test and why it matters
Test strips and guesswork miss most of what makes water safe. We run a complete digital test and balance each parameter into range, because every one of them affects your swimmers, your surface and your equipment.
- Free and total chlorine — sanitisation
- pH — swimmer comfort and chlorine effectiveness
- Total alkalinity — pH stability
- Calcium hardness — surface and equipment protection
- Cyanuric acid (stabiliser) — chlorine longevity
- Salt levels and phosphates where relevant
Balanced water protects your investment
Water that's consistently out of balance quietly damages everything it touches. Low pH corrodes heaters, pump seals and metal fittings; high pH and calcium scale up chlorinator cells and heat exchangers; low sanitiser invites algae.
Regular professional balancing costs little compared to the equipment it protects. It's the single highest-value habit in pool care — and it's built into every maintenance visit we do.
Dosing done properly
Adding chemicals isn't guesswork — dose depends on your pool's exact volume and current readings. We calculate and apply the correct amounts, tell you what was added, and note anything to watch before the next visit. Chemicals are charged separately and always discussed with you first.
Water Testing across Greater Melbourne
Water Testing — your questions answered.
Weekly during the swimming season and at least monthly over winter. After heavy rain, pool parties or heatwaves, an extra test is worthwhile — all three knock water balance around quickly.
